Personal trainer by day, country music artist by night, we have Steve Oriet as our guest this week on the AVB podcast.

Steve grew up in Rivard Canard, Ontario. Having a musical dad as inspiration and a teacher, he decided it was time to take playing guitar seriously. He didn’t really pick up a guitar with the focus to be a performer until he was about 19 years old.  It wasn’t until attending a wedding in Kingston, Ontario about 10 years ago that the motivation hit him. Watching Country Music Television in his hotel room and seeing Jason Aldean perform compelled Steve to really take music seriously. He remembers coming home from the wedding in Kingston, running upstairs and telling his dad “…teach me…”

Steve Oriet runs his own personally training business called ‘All Aspects Fitness’–if anyone is interested on a one-on-one with this handsome fellow! He feels that the fitness business complements his music career since you have to have “…discipline and something to be passionate about…” When you hear this guy sing, you may actually start contemplating that workout regime you’ve been thinking about for a while…

Steve is currently working on an album and is working with some top notch people from Nashville, including writers who have worked with Brooks and Dunn. He performed one of his new songs for us at Milestone Studios that you can catch this Friday on the AVB podcast performance real.

Steve writes in a traditional country way , as he mentions all country songs have a point “…about treating your wife…yourself…things I care about in life… where my goals and morals are… country music in my opinion, is there is nothing better to get the point across and be genuine about it…”

We get a bit deeper here folks talking about his personal life, his song writing styles,  about his time in Nashville , but we lighten things up and throw  a little banter in about the infamous  or rather famous…. ‘Bieber’.  Don’t forget to watch Steve’s performance this Friday at https://www.facebook.com/theavb/
